Concentric Eyelet Design

Untitled design (2).png

Our Patent-Pending Single-Line Pass Thru allows you to forget the mess of knots and tangles. Only use the amount of line needed to get the job done. No more rigging pulleys, no more crossing lines. Keep it simple, stupid!

Physics in Your Pocket

Choose between a 5:1 lift ratio or a 6:1 lift ratio, for whatever load you need to handle. We use only high quality materials and hardware for maximum tensile strength and durability. You pull the rope, the hoist does all the work!

Save Weight, Lift Heavy

No more ratchet straps, heavy block-and-tackle rigs or bulky pulley systems. The Game & Gear Hoist fits in your pocket and saves on pounds, not ounces. Every tool in your kit should serve a purpose. This one serves you.

Patent Pending! We Came to do All the Heavy Lifting!

When the load isn't light and the day is long, leverage matters.
The Game & Gear Hoist is a compact, lightweight block-and-tackle system engineered to lift packs, food, gear, and game into elevated positions with control and efficiency.

This is not a gadget. It’s a tool designed for real backcountry use—quiet, durable, and dependable when brute force isn’t the smart option.

With our proprietary design, using high strength composites and stainless steel hardware, you gain a mechanical advantage through simple physics. Not to get too technical, but you can lift a lot of weight with a little pull force.

Not too bad when your buddy is three ridges over.

Made from durable Nylon 6/6 for maximum tensile strength. The Game & Gear Hoist threads Dyneema or paracord easily through a single concentric eyelet to make rigging a single motion.

The loads across each pivot point are then dissipated laterally across six 304 Stainless Steel pins. No moving parts. No worry about dust. No need to grease or lube.

Use the provided paracord loops for attachment points and get to work!

We've balanced the need for leverage with the withdrawal of friction and made a combo every serious outdoorsman needs in the pack.

Max Pull Capacity: TO BE PUBLISHED SOON (ESTIMATES AND PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS ARE AROUND 1000 Lbs.

*(Always follow the weight limits of chosen cordage. We recommend 1100 paracord or 1/4" Dyneema/ Amsteel for standard use.)

    Weight: 1.3 ounces.

*NOT INTENDED FOR USE LIFTING HUMANS. ALWAYS PRACTICE SAFE DISTANCES FROM LOADS UNDER TENSION. ADECUATE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED FOR SAFETY.

    Compact Lightweight Utility

For more than 60 years afield I've used levers and ropes to meet a variety of lifting tasks. With come-alongs and jacks in the truck for heavier tasks, Raven hoists require little room to pack and are easy to use. With 100 feet of 550 paracord easily inserted through the assembly my light-duty hoist easily lifted 200+ pounds nearly 20 feet. Longer lengths give higher lifts. Raven tools are great for bear country camps, woodland hunts, or garage use. Service from Raven is outstanding.

    No instructions

The block finally arrived after almost two months. A shipping receipt and the hoist. That’s it. No instructions, no picture diagram and no link back to the web site. Easy enough to figure out I guess. Not the greatest shopping experience.

Hey Frank, we appreciate your feedback. 👍 You placed your order on the 7th and we shipped it on the 23rd, so just over two weeks after. We are excited about the rush of orders and we do our best to deal with the waves. As for the instruction card, you're right. We've recently started to include that in our packaging for a better customer experience.

Small brands like ours live and die off these reviews, so thank you for voicing your concerns!

    No para cord

I just received mine and it did not come with any para cord and it does not give me any specifications for the para cord. I need to use that would’ve been nice to be included.

Kudos to the developer/inventors of this device!

Compared to small traditional block and tackle sets, this new way looks amazing. When they are available, I'm absolutely buying one.

Ultralight Block and Tackle Game & Gear Hoist HD – 6:1 Power in 7.65 oz

Backcountry hunters know the truth: most "ultralight block and tackle" systems promise the world but fold under real meat weight. A 4 oz palm-sized gadget might feel great in your pack, but when you're staring at 80+ lb elk quarters hanging off a ridge at 10,000 feet, you need more than clever marketing. You need engineering that delivers real mechanical advantage, zero tangles, bombproof materials, and the confidence to get your harvest out before dark—or before bears find it first.

That's why we built the Raven Equipt Game & Gear Hoist (standard and HD models). This isn't another generic micro-pulley. It's a patent-pending, American-engineered single-line pass-thru system that gives you true 5:1 or 6:1 mechanical advantage in a compact, pocket-ready package. At just 7.65 oz for the HD version, it lifts estimated 1,000-2,500+ lb loads in lab testing while staying light enough for multi-day elk hunts, high-country mule deer packs, or remote trout stream recoveries.

Born to Innovate. Built to Endure. That's not a slogan—it's how we approach every piece of gear we make.

The Problem with Most Ultralight Block and Tackle Systems

You've seen them: big, bulky and heavy pulley systems meant for the truck bed, not the gear pouch. We've solved the two biggest issues with off-grid rigging. Efficiency and weight. No more messing with oversized contraptions. Our patent-pending design is meant for quick execution and tireless work. Here are some things to point out about the mainstream hoists and systems:

  • Friction eats efficiency — many top out at 2:1 or 4:1 effective MA after rope drag.

  • Knots and tangles waste time when you're exhausted and losing light.

  • Extreme working load limits. Often you don't need the 25,000 lb. option. Calm down big-rigger!

  • Cheap materials shear pins or crack under side-load or shock.

  • No versatility — they're one-trick ponies that can't handle snowmobile pulls, horse-pack lifts, or quick angling gear hauls.

How the Raven Game & Gear Hoist Changes the Game

Our patent-pending design uses a precision-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum or a glass-filled Nylon body paired with 304 stainless steel pins and a low-friction sheave system. The single-line pass-thru eliminates knots in the main lift line—no more tying Prusiks, no more fumbling with figure-8s. Just feed your rope (¼"–⅜" UHMWPE/Amsteel recommended) through once, clip in, and pull.

Key specs that matter in the mountains:

  • Weight: 7.65 oz (HD model) – lighter than many "heavy-duty" options yet far stronger.

  • Mechanical Advantage: True 5:1 standard / 6:1 optimized rigging (minimal friction loss).

  • Capacity: Lab-tested to handle 1,000 to 2,500+ lb breaking strength; safe working loads far exceed typical hunting needs (always match rope rating).

  • Materials: Aerospace-grade aluminum + stainless — corrosion-resistant for wet Colorado elk hunts or coastal steelhead trips.

  • Rope Compatibility: Accepts 7/64" to ⅜" Dyneema/Amsteel/UHMWPE — the ropes backpack hunters already carry.

  • Redesigned Features: Oversized tether loop for big carabiners/hooks, tangle-free feed, pocket-sized profile with included stuff sack.
